Tea tree essential oil was nice enough to share with some recipes. . .
It is your good friend Tea Tree essential oil that is texting you today.
Andrea invited me to a guest appearance on the Aromahead Blog because I know a lot about the use of essential oils for natural allergy relief.
I have a real passion for:
- Helping people breathe clearly and easily
- Support immunity
- Reduce germs
- And help people feel like their best selves day in and day out!
Here is one of my BIGGEST TIPS for naturally relieving allergies. . .
Replace your store-bought household cleaners and products
with homemade essential oil versions.
It seems like a good idea to get the toughest detergents you can find and surround yourself with them so you get rid of all germs and allergens. . .
. . . But I have to say that being around harsh chemicals can put your immune system at risk.
It's like your body is constantly on the alert, responding to harsh fumes (even if you can't smell them) and the presence of toxins.
Then persistent symptoms such as inflammation, congestion, sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes appear.
Why not get rid of that stress so your body can finally calm down these chronic symptoms?
Why not use essential oils for cleansing?
We SUPPORT your health instead of questioning it.
Here is a recipe for an all-surface spray cleaner to get you started. . .
Tea Tree's most popular spray cleaner for household surfaces
- 60 ml of water
- 60 ml 190 percent alcohol (Everclear works well!)
- 120 ml tea tree hydrosol (Melaleuca alternifolia)
- 35 drops of tea tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Make your mixture in a 240 ml glass spray bottle.
Pour the alcohol into the glass bottle and add the tea tree essential oil to it. Let this sit for about 1 hour. This will give the alcohol time to "disperse" the essential oil through your cleansing mixture.
Pour water and hydrosol into the glass spray bottle.
Shake everything very well, then use it on surfaces that respond well to water.
Combine water, hydrosol, and essential oil in the spray bottle, shake everything very well, then use it on surfaces that respond well to water.
Not only does the alcohol remove germs and distribute the essential oil, but it also acts as a preservative and maintains the shelf life of your cleaning mix.
I also suggest learning more about using essential oils for natural allergy relief.
My friend Andrea Butje has a free webinar about it!
You can find the webinar here!
In the webinar, Andrea teaches you how to make your own cleaning products, inhalers and more.
She will tell you which essential oils to use for natural allergy relief and why they work.
You will also learn about the safety of essential oils – because even though we essential oils are very natural, we should still be treated with respect.
Before I finish my guest post on natural allergy relief, I just have to say . . .
I am so sorry that so many of you have allergies!
This should not be accepted as a fact of life.
Andrea would love to help you develop a system for natural allergy relief so you can always feel better.
And she will only teach you techniques that she knows will work – because she used them herself to get rid of her own allergies completely.
Okay, that's all of the time I have today. Thank you for having me here as your blog guest!
Don't forget to attend the webinar!
